Good News to Share

Please allow me to share some good news, that I have been Called as the new rector of Emmanuel Episcopal Church on Russell Road in Alexandria, Virginia. I am scheduled to begin ministry this month and my first Sunday is June 23. Please stop in to see us and check us out when you have the opportunity to do so. Know you will always be welcome anytime any day.

Thank you for your prayers and encouragement through my job search over this past year. And, thank you for keeping this new ministry opportunity in your prayers – I am very honored to have been Called and excited to begin parish ministry again.     Many blessings in your new ministry!! I lived right by there and there used to be a magnificent hill that would be covered in those orange lilies your dad liked around this time of year! He’s watching over you!

    Congratulations! That’s such a beautiful area. I worked for many years at Alexandria Country Day School, which is right up the street. I love driving around that area in the spring.
