26 Moments

A friend sent me this link titled, “26 moments that restored our faith in humanity this year.”   Some of these moments were familiar, while others were new to me, but I was inspired by the collection of them strung together.

Some are as simple as sending a letter, covering someone else’s car window so rain wouldn’t pour in, giving a kid a chance who might not otherwise have that chance, paying for someone else’s meal, etc.  Just simple nice things, not done to draw attention to the giver, but out of kindness.  Actions that  inspire us – so much so that we want to say “Thank you”  for who you are and what you do.

I hope you enjoy these as much as I did.  (Click on the photo above or on this link:  here)

Peace everyone,

This was such a wonderful array of heartwarming human behavior. I’m sharing them with my children and grandchildren, hoping they will always view giving to others as an important part of their personhood. peg.

Thank you Chuck, for posting these – shared them with our girls, and our New Year’s Resolution is to “continue the 26…”

Thanks so much for posting these – I had seen a couple but not all – every single one was ‘my favorite’ but honestly if pressed to pick one it would #13 the little boy with the sign ‘God hates no one.’ Happy New Year and may our lives be filled more of these moments and God willing may we all make at least one moment for someone in 2013.
